Corowa Howlong Mulwala Tourism AGM - Monday 13 July

You are invited to an evening of discussion, dinner and networking at the Corowa Howlong Mulwala Tourism Annual General Meeting which is scheduled for Monday 13th July 2009 at the Corowa RSL Club commencing at 6.30pm

 

Topics for discussion at the AGM will be a summary of the 2008/2009 financial year in terms of activities and initiatives, financial summary and proposed membership partnership structure for 2009/2010 financial year.  An election of tourism executive office bearers consisting of President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, committee members and newsletter editor will occur for 2009/2010 financial year.  A 3 course meal will be served throughout the meeting with Christmas in July being the theme for the evening.

 

“Businesses, community organisation, groups and individuals are invited to attend this meeting.  Working together is one sure way, we ALL benefit!  Whether you're the hairdresser, butcher, motelier or accountant, the flow on effect of the tourism dollar does affect businesses at all levels, said Peter Hansen, President Corowa Howlong Mulwala Tourism.  The guest speaker for the evening is Clayton Neil.  Clayton is the Cycle Tourism Officer for Alpine, Indigo and Wangaratta Councils assisting with the Murray to Mountains rail trail development. 

 

“Tourism in NSW is the largest industry and 2nd largest industry in Corowa Shire.  Participation and membership is significantly important to the future viability of tourism and assists in enabling future growth of this important industry.  Come along for an evening of discussion and assist your business or community organisation” said Corowa Shire Mayor, Councillor Gary Poidevin.
