The Australian Soaring Centre Corowa was founded in 2001 as result of an initiative of three Dutch and an Australian Glider Pilot Francesco Bruinsma, Grietje Wansink, Harm Garrelts and Jock Davis. Their objective was to establish one of the worlds leading soaring centres, where pilots from all over the world could meet and compete in cross country flying.
