Lowe Square is the primary recreation reserve in Howlong and caters for a range of sporting groups which include; football, netball, cricket, little athletics, pony club, tennis as well as a range of other users.

The development of the Master Plan involved extensive research and consultation with Council, the key user groups and the community. The plan will guide the future development of the reserve and will assist the recently established Committee of Management.
