The Australian Government has committed $200M from the Water for the Future fund to establish the Strengthening Basin Communities (SBC) program. This program is designed to assist Local Government and their communities to plan and implement water initiatives for a Future with less Water.

AlburyCity, Corowa, Greater Hume and Urana Shires have secured $800,000 in funding and are working together to plan for a Future with less Water. Work is now progressing on the ten recommendations that were identified in the first two stages of the project. This report provides a status update for these projects.
