At the Corowa Shire Tourism Annual General Meeting on Monday 12th July, a new Tourism Executive Board was appointed and the Partnership Prospectus was approved. "The event attracted the largest audience in the history of tourism Annual General Meetings, with 61 people attending. It was fantastic to see a cross section of businesses attending from Corowa, Howlong, Rutherglen and Mulwala. Everyone was inspired by guest speaker Tom O'Toole, the founder of the highly successful Beechworth Bakery," said Peter Hansen, President Corowa Shire Tourism. Corowa Shire Tourism partnership prospectus will be distributed to businesses in the region for their consideration. "Partnership fees are significantly important to the future viability of tourism and assists in enabling future growth of this important industry. Tourism in NSW is the largest industry and 2nd largest industry in Corowa Shire.
