Draft Strategic Land Use Plan

Corowa Shire Council has prepared a draft Strategic Land Use Plan for the purposes of public exhibition and comment.

The Plan applies to the whole of the Shire with particular focus on the townships of Corowa, Howlong and Mulwala.

The overall purpose of the Plan is to guide the future development and use of land within the Shire for the next 20 to 30 years. The Plan will provide the basis for a new Local Environmental Plan.

The draft Plan will be available for viewing at the following locations:

• Council Offices, Corner Bow Street and Honour Avenue Corowa
• Howlong Community Resource Centre, Hawkins Street Howlong
• Mulwala Civic Centre, Melbourne Street Mulwala

Copies of the draft Plan can be viewed and/or downloaded below or at Habitat Planning website www.habitatplanning.com.au

The draft Plan will be presented to the community at meetings in each of the three townships. Details of these meetings will be given by public notice in due course.

The closing date for the viewing of the plan will be determined after the public meetings.
