Collection of Fire Wood Permits

To be able to collect fire wood from the side of the road, you must apply for a permit from the council.

Permits for road side collection of fire wood on the side of the road can be obtained by attending the Council and leaving you your name and details. You will also receive a map of the area for where you can and can not collect from.

Council also have forms for permits to collect wood in State Forrests, and on the roadside which is protected by the Rural Lands Protection Board, which have to be sent to the appropriate authorities.
