Corowa Search and Rescue, Corowa The Corowa Rescue Squad is the Primary Accredited Rescue Unit (NSW State Rescue Board Accreditation) for the Corowa District. Our Squad was established in June 1978 and is an entirely volunteer Squad. The Corowa Rescue Squad is an affilate of the NSW Volunteer Recue Association. Our role is to provide Primary Rescue services to assist the Police Ambulances and Fire Services at Road Accidents, Floods, Waterway emergency, floods and any other emergency assistance as required. We are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In case of any emeregency always ring "000" and request Police, Ambulance or Fire Service assistance. The Rescue Squad will be called by those authorities to assist. The number below is not for emergency calls. The Rescue Squad meets or trains every 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Mondays of the month at 7.30pm at the Edward Street headquaters.
