BE WATERWISE

Water is there at the turn of a tap, we tend to use more than we really need. This is wasting a precious resource particularly in the dry times we are currently experiencing. Every household needs to use water wisely.

Tips for saving water:

• Fix leaking and running taps

• Do not water gardens and lawns in the middle of the day

• Install sprinkling systems and use timers

• Do not over-water

• Only wash with a full load

• Wash your car using a bucket instead of a hose

• Take short showers and install water saving shower rose
