Seniors and Retirees are well catered for throughout the Shire with access to health, medical and ancillary services (see health & family) in major towns as well as fully accredited aged care facilities.

There are also many community organisations and groups such as local Apex, Rotary and Probus clubs that welcome new members as well as active volunteer groups such as the Corowa CWA, Corowa Theatre Company, Howlong Garden Club or the Mulwala Senior Citizens group that provide vital community services and links.

The University of the Third Age is also active in the Corowa Shire area providing valuable education opportunities or an opportunity to try new hobbies or just enjoy like-minded company.
