Corowa Shire Council - Community Development

Community Development is a way of connecting the community with the local Council, Government bodies and services. The Social, Community & Cultural needs of the Corowa Shire have formally been identified by the recently reviewed Social & Community Plan (2006-2011).

The Social, Community & Cultural Plan has identified these key groups requiring community development assistance.

Rural & Isolated People
Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander People
People from Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Backgrounds
